1. I think that the fires in the Amazon is a huge issue. I think that because the Amazon forest plays a huge factor in absorbing carbon dioxide, which will help lower the increase of global warming.
2. I think that leaders should not be able to refuse help from other countries for events like this. I think that because when it is a global problem, it is a problem for every single country, not just the one that it occurs in.
3. I am a little surprised that the US has not offered direct support yet. I am surprised because I feel like the US is usually pretty good in providing help in other countries for problems like these.
4. I do believe that the US should get involved with these talks. I believe that because the Amazon helps prevent global warming, and global warming is a huge problem right now.
