1. 143 years old.
2. 88% of more than 400 communications.
3. The Court of Criminal Appeals
4. 54 yards.
5. The book "Hurricane".
Long Response:
1. Raper Kanye West just had a big realization in his life. He realized that God had been calling him for a long time. He points back to the time when God stayed with him while he was in the hospital and during hard times. He is now speaking at churches and giving concerts. He wants people to spend every single millisecond in service to God.
2.Kanye West said that his lowest point was when he was hospitalized after having a mental breakdown.
3.I have not listened to any songs on the "Jesus is King". I may have, but probably didn't know it.
4. I don't know if I would like the songs. That is because I usually don't like rap.
5.During his speech at the mega-church, Kanye West talked about what he calls streams of consciousness. Some of those include going to church as a kid, religion, the devil , and the peril of fame and money.
6.I do not know who Joel Esteen is.
7. I do believe and hope that Kanye West has found Jesus and is a changed man. That is because I do not think that he would make it up and be going around and speaking at different churches if he didn't find Jesus".

The Golden Voice
The Golden Voice
Everything changes for Ted Williams after a video of him talking in his announcer voice went viral. He received a bunch of interest from different companies for the use of his skilled voice. However, not everything for Ted since the video has been released had gone smooth.
He had problems with staying sober and had to go into rehab. This put a lot of his business on hold and even some companies lost interest in him. Ted even apologized after he admitted to lying to Dr. Phil on his show. However, once Williams completed rehab, things started to look up for him.
He released his own book about his long journey, which was a huge success. Williams then started to get more job opportunities. He even got a deal with Pepsi. In 2015, Williams said that he was gonna run for president. However, he changed his mind, because he wanted to inspire and encourage other people. He has also done a lot of charity work. His dream was to give back to the homeless community. Later on, Williams even begin working on the same radio station that he worked on all those years ago before he took a break.

1. The difference between a hard news lead and the one I read above is that a hard news lead is suppose to really hook the reader, while the one I read above was only two words long and was suppose to make the reader wonder and want to find out what that voice sounds like.
2. I learned the who, what, where, when, why, and how of the story in the second paragraph of the story.
3. Yes, there are quotes in the story.
4.The quotes were not arranged in the quote-transition style that we used in news writing.
5. Ted Williams, people who know Ted, and companies that were trying to get a hold of Ted were the people that were quoted in the story.
6. In my opinion, the first quote (paragraph 6) is the most powerful in the story. That is because I feel like it really hooked the reader onto the story, and made them want to hear Ted Williams' voice even more.
7.The story is 33 paragraphs long.
8. The story is 765 words long.
9. It being so short and to the point is the significance of the lead and final paragraphs of the story. Its also significant because it is pretty much the same thing.
10. I think that the writer did that with the lead and the final paragraph in order to make the reader want to find out what that voice means and what it sounds like.
11. I think that the story was really interesting to read. That is because the entire time, I was trying to picture what the voice sounded like.
12. After I read the story, but before I watched the video, I really wanted to hear the voice. That is because the writer did a really good job of building it up with the quotes that he used and all of the description.
13. Satisfaction and amazement was the impact that the video had on me after I watched it right after reading the story.
14. I think that the story would of lost the impact without the video. That is because with the video, the voice is kind of memorable, while as if you hadn't watched the video, then you would of probably have forgotten about it.
15. The writer did try to come up with a way for you to hear the voice without really hearing it.
16. The writer did this when he included the quotes of Ted Williams talking in the voice. I don't think that the writer wanted to give away too much of what the voice sounded like though, because one of the points of the story is to try and get the reader to go and watch the video.

Commentary Brainstorm
1.Happiness- Completing all of my homework and getting to bed early
Anger- Losing the football game to Westlake
Sadness- someone I knew passed away
2.Getting a 100 on the Biology quiz, making a good play in football, winning in Fantasy football.
3. School work, being healthy, having everything organized.
4. Wasting time, having a lot of homework, losing a sports game.
5. Food, Sports, Home.
6. Keeping everybody safe, on topic, and getting work done.
7. Everybody passes their class, have nothing to grade, knowing that people like their class.
8. How many of my friends are at school, the sports at Bowie, the freedom that you get in high school.
9. How much we rely on technology to get stuff done, how long lunch is, and how much time I find myself wasting in school.
10. This isn't really a trend, but it is something that I have noticed. A lot of students don't stay on top of their work. For example, some students will show up to class and have none of their homework done.

CE #2.2
Short Response:
1.He was deserted by even his staunchest allies.
2.The Liberal Party.
3. "The citizens of Austin expect transparency and a voice in key policy decisions," Blyth said. "We feel that the Mayor and City Council aren't listening to us or representing us well."
4. Provide help to counselors in identifying their student's career goals and how to help the achieve their goals.
5. It was a 33 yard field goal.
Long Response:
1. Right now, a Democratic-led impeachment inquiry for Trump is in order. Trump, who doesn't not believe that this is fair, compares the inquiry to lynching. Lynching occurred back then when angry mobs killed thousands of black people. Trump's comments sparked an out-roar from many people. It most definitely disturbed people who had family members that were lynched. This was not the only time that Trump has used unleashing racially inflammatory language. However, Lindsey Graham, who is close to Trump, said, "This is a lynching in every case."
2.Lynch is when a mob kills someone, sometimes by hanging, for an offense even with pr without a legal trial.
3.Lynching was very common in the South after the American Civil War. African Americans were the most common targets, but some whites were lynched also. Hangings were the most common use of killing when lynchings took place.
4.I think that Trump chose to use the word lynching when describing what he is currently facing with impeachment because in his opinion, he felt that a large group of people were accusing him of something without proof of it.
5. I do not think that the word lynching is appropriate in this circumstance. I think this because lynching was so horrible and awful back then, and I think that murder is a lot worse than an investigation.
5b. I think that in response, the president needs to give an apology for his use of words. That is because his words really hurt a lot of people, especially the ones who has family members or people they knew lynched.
